Dr. Tom Askew

Tom runs the specialist science and technology centre that hosts 12,000 Victorian students a year, after a decade as a research engineer in autonomous systems at DST Group. He advises the Department of Education on emerging-technology curriculum and is a plain-spoken sceptic of most classroom technology — which makes his optimism about the parts that work worth hearing. He co-hosts the podcast *Benchtop*, on science teaching and technology.
